Team India squad for under-19 world cup was announced by selection committee with a squad of 15 players. Unmukt Chand was announced captain for this series and Akshdeep Nath as vice captain. As per ICC schedule this wc-19 2012 series is going to begin in Australia on 11-08-2012.

Although my bias will always go for the Oz team, my cheers are with India this time around for they were excellent hosts to us brisbane soccer academy in our recent sports meet in that beautiful country.
